TRACYS SONG RALLIES TO TAKE MEADOWS $27,500 F&M PACE
WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 9, 2009 - Tracys Song, whose previous ventures into The Meadows' top distaff pace brought minor checks only, showed how sharp she has become Monday when she captured the $27,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Pace for her third straight victory.Unhurried early, Tracys Song fell back by 7-1/2 lengths before launching a bid for Tony Hall that was largely uncovered. She tackled 1-2 favorite Natalie at the top of the stretch and drew off to down that rival by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:52.4. Au Dragon finished third.
Ron Burke trains Tracys Song, a 4-year-old daughter of Astreos-Daylon Reality who has banked $138,993 this year, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
Dave Palone drove four winners on the 13-race card.
