TRACYS SONG ON KEY AGAIN, WINS 4TH STRAIGHT AT THE MEADOWS
WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 16, 2009 - Tracys Song assured she would face no traffic tie-ups Monday at The Meadows as she powered right to the front and captured the $27,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Pace for her fourth consecutive victory.Tracys Song displayed an effective stalking or rallying style in the previous wins in her streak, but on Monday, Tony Hall confidently sent the 4-year-old daughter of Astreos-Daylon Reality to the lead. She scored at 4-5 in a career-best 1:52.1, 1-1/2 lengths better than the pocket-sitting An Original. Palazzo Princess was an even third.
Ron Burke trains Tracys Song, who has won $152,743 in 2009, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC. Dave Palone and Dick Stillings each drove three winners on the 13-race card.
